Registered Care Manager.
Our registered care managers work from our offices. This role means you will be responsible for a specific area as well as undertaking operational management responsibilities. It involves:
- Being responsible for the safe delivery of care services within your specified area.
- Operational management of all care staff in that area.
- Responsible for compliance matters and quality assurance within your area.
- Taking care of service improvement and issue and complaint resolution.
- Responsible for management and delivering inspections within your area.
Skills, Attributes & Knowledge
Typically, a person in this role should have the following skills/attributes:
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Advanced problem-solving skills.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Excellent IT skills (use of MS office, email, internet, and company IT systems, Care Planner, Pass, Atlas).
Active listening skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Be flexible and mobile.
Good coaching skills and the ability to give feedback.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Good understanding of HR policy, practice and employment law.
Advanced knowledge of CIW, RISCA and safeguarding.
Qualiﬁcations & Accreditations
Typically a person in this role will need the following qualiﬁcations/accreditations:
Qualified to QCF level 5 standard in Health and Social Care.
Registered with Social Care Wales as a manager.
